In 2014, our breed club started up their "Most winning" lists. Over the years the lists have been revided and expanded, and after having the two most winning veterans in show for 2015 when veterans first were added, 3 of my A litter gang that were showed, placed on the 2018 puppy winners list.
Every year after that, my dogs and kennel have placed even with a bare minimum of dogs in the competitions.
This year is no exeption. From only 2 Iztaris dogs entered in only 4 out of the 7 qualifying shows, the results this year are like this:
NDK Most winning show female #4
NDK Most winning showdog #8
NDK Best breeding female #3
These results also made the kennel place for best breeder again, and the result is:
RUNNER UT TOP BREEDER 2021
Now the year is coming to an end, and I can look forward to 2022. Our B litter gang will be attending a few shows, and their MH test is scheduled - looking much forward to see them out and about!
Yesterday we attended a rather local show for us, only a few hours from home.
It was the first outing for one of our B litter boys, and so I decided to enter Marco & Nikki just for the fun of it. The show does not count towards the NDK winner list, but training is training!
The judge liked them all, and with very nice critiques, Nikki beat her brother for BEST OF BREED this time.
Chavo (Iztaris Balrog) showed that he is indeed a little "Brown Marco copy", and I think all 4 legs was on the ground for maybe 5 seconds - he had a blast, jumping and playing in the ring, and the judge gave him high praise. But the older male puppy managed to trot, and thus got BOB puppy.
Next time I know Camilla will be more prepared, and maybe a little less nervous..haha!
But such a nice day around the ring, also catching up with some old friends.
MORE HEALTH NEWS
Another round of hipscoring is done. We sent the same pictures to NKK that we sent to get BVA scored, and the BVA scores are back. According to ANKC both dogs are HD FREE.
Happy breeder and owner!
HEALTH RESULTS AGAIN
Another one of the B litter gang has his Embark DNA results back. More information on his own page HERE.
I am very grateful to all mye puppyowners, for helping in getting thier dogs tested.
Knowledge is power, and the only way to move forward.
Another set of news are not so good, as my own male has his HD results back. HD D means that he will for the time beeing not go in to my breeding programe, and I am crushed by this. He is one of the best males around, with a mentality the breed sorely needs!
Luckily I have his sisters, where my own Nikki is very much like him.
MORE HEALTH RESULTS
As the weeks pass, the Embark tests are being analyzed and returned to us. The second one out from the B litter bunch is my orange collar male, Iztaris Brisingr.
Follow the link to get to his own page, where the results are published.
NEW HEALTH RESULTS
About a month ago, I ordered the Embark DNA test for the B litter bunch. The tests have been sent to their owners, who have then returned them to Embark, and the first results are in.
Iztaris Balrog has his results back, and as always the testing done on my dogs are public. You can also follow the link to his own page HERE
OUR B LITTER PICTURED AT 5 WEEKS OLD
The puppies are now all homed, and my "job description" soon changes as the new owners take on life with their new familymember. Website is updated with the brown bunch, and all of them will eventually have their own page here.

OUR B LITTER IS HERE
The all brown bunch is here, sadly one puppy was not alive but we have 1 girl and 3 boys.
Mother and babies are doing well, and now it is time to enjoy the little one`s and see them grow.
NEW CHAMPION & CONFIRMED PREGNANCY
So exited to be writing this! Not only is Vilje scanned with many babies onboard, but her daughter from my A litter finished her Norwegian show champion title yesterday!
She was one of only two females getting the CK that enabled her to go in best female competition, and as the other female already was INT.CH, the CAC was hers.
So fun to write he name now!
N UCH Transilvania Winner 18` Iztaris Anvindr
And we are far from done yet... ;-)
Girl number two has been mated, so fingers crossed!
This will be an all brown litter from two lovely dark brown parents. Also, Zula is in for her pregnancy scan next week!
We are very much hoping for a bunch of Colt babies, too!
Finally, after a week of no sleep and trying to tie all logistics together from across the mountains, Zula has been inseminated and all went well.
So now we are hoping for a bunch of babies come late may, fingers crossed and lots of positive thinking!
More information on the upcoming litter, you can find on PLANNED LITTERS page.
Click on the link there for more pictures and information about the combination.
My brown female Vilje, is also closing in on her heat so hopefully soon we can present her litter here as well.
Yup - you guessed it! Another dog tested and another dog currently DCM clear ! So happy that once more he was OK.
This time it was my young male, NUCH Iztaris Armaros.
Complete result can be found on his own page.
ANOTHER EKG HOLTER RESULT
This time from our young female, Iztaris Aurora Borealis. She is - like her mother and sister, currently DCM clear!
I am really happy about this, as it means our plans to have a litter from her will happen on her next heat.
Complete result are to be found on her own page.
ANNUAL EKG HOLTER
The first round of news are in, and it is very good ones. Both my girls have had their 24Hr EKG holter vest on, and both girls are currently DCM clear.
Especially good news for Vilje, as this means my plans for her litter will proceed. Two more dogs from the A litter are getting tested in the coming weeks, hopefully they too are DCM clear.
I have added the results on the girls own pages.
